Atlanta,
a major metropolitan area of the American South, is home to a growing number
of restaurants committed to sourcing many of their ingredients from local
area farms. We're pleased that the Woodfire Grill was
named one of the ten best farm-to-table restaurants in America by
Epicurious.com. And another notable Atlanta restaurant, 4th & Swift, was
selected as one of the top ten new restaurants by GAYOT in late 2008. We're
also pleased that Linton Hopkins, chef and co-owner of Restaurant Eugene in Buckhead, was nominated last year for the James Beard Best Chef, Southeast
Award. On the coast, we have re-listed the Forbes five star-rated Georgian
Room restaurant on Sea Island.
