Virginians
are fortunate to have not a few but several farm-to-table restaurants
located throughout the state. The two selected for inclusion here are among
the best. Indeed The Inn at Little Washington, under Chef and owner Patrick
O'Connell, is regarded by many as not only the best restaurant in the
region, but one of the very best in the country. As for Restaurant Eve, a
much newer establishment in the Washington DC suburb of Alexandria, we
congratulate Chef Cathal Armstrong, his wife, and the staff on receiving the
four star rating by the Washington Post. And our most recent Virginia
addition, Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen, is listed by Epicurious as one of the
top ten farm-to-table restaurants in America.
