Still River Café at North
Ashford Farm is a casually elegant restaurant serving contemporary, seasonal
American cuisine featuring traditional New England ingredients prepared in
imaginative ways. Nearly 100% of the produce served
is grown on the premises by co-owner Robert Brooks, a self-proclaimed
purist of organic and sustainable agriculture, never using pesticides or
commercial fertilizers and working with nature to grow a wide variety of
vegetables year-round in his garden and greenhouse. Meat, cheese and
eggs are procured locally, and much of the fish is line caught and day boat
fresh.
